Childhood - A tale of purity - 17.08.2010

A conceptual theory that was embedded in me,
Mysterious fears gripped my dreams.
It never let me free, even when I was Just three.
Super speciality syndrome it seems.
How fierce a night is during the rains,
Standing tall I would fight it alone.
Flock all the stars and never let them go,
Until it was day and they couldn't stay.
Every crack of dawn was a quest in itself,
For I had no clue, of the material world.
Angels were the only people existed till date.
And fairy tales were my sole information media.
Broken knee with a lump on the forehead,
Was THE WORST thing ever happened.
Another one was a RED face with a crooked smile,
After all the bashing from the teacher for "n" reasons.
The best thing ever happened to me was a surprise birthday party.
Crying over a candy was a daily affair.
Argument with my dad for a day out in the park made me happy.
Rolling down the streets with little buddies in the rain was my ultimate adventure.
20 years hence, Days have grown short.
Life has become demanding.
A coffee is all you have with friends.
A lie is what you call your life.
